Dog Bites

If you have been bitten by a dog:

  • Notify the police and animal control.
  • Gather as much information as possible including your area and location, the dog's tag information, the dog owner's name, address, and insurance information.
  • Take pictures of the location of the incident, the dog, and the injuries you've received.
  • Try to get the names and addresses of any witnesses to the accident.
  • Seek medical attention, even if you do not think you are seriously hurt.
